Our Story

What started as a love for dahlias and butterflies soon became something bigger!

Watching our visitors feel welcome, relax, and leave their worries behind at our dahlia farm, it taught us something special: Nature brings happiness, and butterflies add magic!

But when we moved, we noticed something missing - monarchs.

That’s when The Stripey Caterpillar was born!

What We Do

The Stripey Caterpillar is all about bringing butterflies and people together.

We create meaningful, nature-inspired gifts that spark conversation, raise awareness, and help build a sense of community around butterfly conservation.

Every product is designed to inspire action, support grassroots projects through our StripeyZINE, and remind people of the magic in the natural world.

Hands-on experiences that bring these ideas to life and connect people with butterflies, nature, and each other in joyful, memorable ways are in the works, so stay tuned!
